mySLife uses in-world verification as a form of multi-factor authentication and age / maturity verification. To unlock Moderate or Adult content on the website, you must be able to visit a Second Life location rated for that maturity and finish at a mySLife hub terminal there.
New sign-ups: finish verification at a hub and get an L$500 gift card to Debauchery Furniture in Second Life (stay online to accept the inventory offer).
Why visit a kiosk?
- Proves you control a Second Life avatar (not just a browser).
- Confirms you can access land at the maturity level you request (Moderate / Adult).
- One visit unlocks that maturity on mySLife; this browser can sign you back in afterward without another trip.
