By using mySLife.net you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What mySLife is

mySLife is an independent community website for Second Life® residents to share stories, photos, pages, and places. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Linden Lab. Second Life® is a trademark of Linden Research, Inc. A mySLife account is not a Linden Lab / Second Life account.

2. Eligibility & identity

• You must be allowed to use Second Life under Linden Lab’s terms and applicable law.
• Accounts are tied to your Second Life avatar via our official in-world verification flow.
• Maturity grants require in-world verification. Choosing a maturity on the website only routes you to the right kiosk; the kiosk grant is authoritative.
• Adult content on mySLife is only available after successful verification at an Adult-configured kiosk.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your linked avatar account. Do not attempt to bypass maturity gates, impersonate others, abuse APIs, or interfere with kiosks or other residents’ accounts. We may suspend or ban accounts for guideline violations or security abuse.

4. Content you post

You retain ownership of your content. You grant mySLife a license to host and display it as described in Content & ownership. You must have the rights to post what you upload, and you must label maturity honestly. Marketplace links and outfit credits are provided by you; we do not endorse linked merchants.

5. Paid plans

Creator and Merchant tiers are coming soon. The Resident plan is free today. When paid options launch, terms and billing details will be posted on Billing and Plans.

6. Acceptable use

Follow the Community Guidelines. Illegal content, exploitation of minors, malware, scraping that harms the service, and harassment are prohibited.

7. Intellectual property of mySLife

Site branding, software, and non-user interface materials are owned by the site operator. You may not copy the service or misrepresent affiliation with Linden Lab or mySLife staff.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” Virtual world platforms change; kiosks, SLURLs, and third-party services (including PayPal and Second Life) may be unavailable. We are not responsible for in-world griefing, lost L$, or Linden Lab account issues.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, mySLife and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of USD $50 or the amounts you paid us for subscriptions in the three months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the “Last updated” date means you accept the revised Terms. Material billing or privacy changes will be reflected on the linked policy pages.
