We take practical steps to protect accounts and content. No online service is perfectly secure; this page explains our approach and how to report issues.

1. How accounts work

• Sign-in is tied to your Second Life avatar through our official in-world verification flow — mySLife does not store a Second Life password.
• Website sessions use an essential session cookie over HTTPS.
• Higher maturity access requires completing the matching in-world verification step; the website maturity choice alone is not enough.

2. Payments

Paid plans are not open yet. When billing launches, payment providers will process checkout; mySLife will store plan status needed to unlock features, not your full card number.

3. What we ask of you

• Only use official mySLife kiosks and activators from trusted sources.
• Do not share one-time claim links or codes publicly.
• Report phishing objects or fake “mySLife” vendors.

4. Vulnerability reports

If you find a security issue, use the signed-in Contact form (category: Security) with enough detail to reproduce. Please do not exploit or disclose publicly before we can fix it.
